Our History

Isabel is more than a restaurant; it is a tribute to our roots and to the people who inspire us every day.

Our grandparents, originally from Nerja, passed on to us their love for traditional Andalusian cuisine, and it is their recipes that give life to our menus today. Each dish we serve seeks to rescue those authentic flavours that marked our childhood and that we want to share with you today.

The restaurant is named after our mother, Isabel, as a token of affection and recognition for her influence in our life and in this project. Naming it after her not only honours her legacy, but also adds a touch of closeness and familiarity that we want you to feel on every visit.

Our logo also tells a story: it is the union of the coats of arms of our families, Iranzo and Carrión. From the Iranzo coat of arms we took the yellow castle, symbol of strength and tradition, and from the Carrión coat of arms the rest of the design, such as Ghisolfi and Fort, which are part of the whole family, reflecting the union and family spirit that gave rise to this dream.
